Here's a step-by-step guide to using my preferred payment platform for international transfers:

WISE

Step 1: Create a multi-currency account.

Register for a Personal Wise account (or log in if you already have one). Click on “Balances” and then “Get started”.

Complete your profile and upload your documents to verify your account for security.

Step 2: To make instant payments open a GBP account and upload funds.

Step 3: Click "Send Money" then "Single payment". You will be prompted to select the account you'd like to send from. If you have made one, select your GBP Wise Account and at the next step, select "Same Currency".

 If choosing to send internationally from your existing bank account outside Wise: you must ensure you select GBP as the recipient's currency. My account can only receive GBP and attempts to transfer other currencies will fail. Note that this option takes at least 10 hours to complete.

Step 4: Select "Business or charity" when asked who you are sending the money to. 

Step 5: Enter my email, the Account Holder, Sort Code, and Account Number provided to you. Hit send - GBP to GBP should arrive in seconds.
